This suncatcher is attached to a swiveling hook, so it will spin easily in a light breeze. The background is made of a very thin acrylic, while the border and inset design is cut out of premium plywood.

The front side of the suncatcher has a matte background, and the rear side has a glossy finished background.

Each suncatcher's pattern will be a little bit different due to the variations in the material. This suncatcher is made of plywood and shouldn't spend extended time outside, to preserve its quality.

You may also add a suction cup to your order, if you plan on hanging the suncatcher on glass.

It is a great item. I would have carved a small notch like on a makeup compact to make opening easier. Also, one of my magnets was not glued in, but I fixed that with a single drop of super glue. Overall, great gift.
